Sulfuric I'm playing with Motherless right now. I'll report back on my findings. So far it has a much better UI than ImageFap, has the same ability to comment on an image as Sex com, and allows for direct user communication as well.
Sulfuric One drawback, while you can "Favorite" images, you can only create galleries of images you upload, but they do allow uploading of non-OC. All uploads are vetted so they can avoid copyright and revenge porn issues.
Sulfuric Doesn't look like you can anymore. I did find instructions from 2010, but everything current seems to indicate that only galleries of uploads can be made.

I spoke with support staff over email, and apparently the site is under maintenance. Pins are only suspended temporarily. They didn’t clarify as to when the site is going to be back up; but good news nonetheless.

@HotRettas Low effort images ruin the category. Same goes for adding tags that don't match what's in the images. Also bad when folks flood a category saturating it (when selecting for the latest uploads) with low quality images for multiple pages. 12/31/2

As I said, it's not 2010 anymore. 5MB is not enough these days. Even if they doubled it to 10MB, it would still require some compression. Give us at least 15MB for Pics/Gifs and we'll be happy.

The site was completely different in 2006. They didn't allow user uploads until like 2010 IIRC. Back then 5MB was fine for pics since most were 480p at best.

There is a way to download all your boards using something called "gallery-dl" on github. It's a bit technical but it's a good working solution that let's you download pins in full quality.

I think it's just better to keep fewer pins. There are some images and gifs with probably dozens of copies floating around on the site. It makes finding the more obscure boards really difficult, and those can sometimes be the best ones!

I'm playing with Motherless right now. I'll report back on my findings. So far it has a much better UI than ImageFap, has the same ability to comment on an image as Sex com, and allows for direct user communication as well.
One drawback, while you can "Favorite" images, you can only create galleries of images you upload, but they do allow uploading of non-OC. All uploads are vetted so they can avoid copyright and revenge porn issues.
Doesn't look like you can anymore. I did find instructions from 2010, but everything current seems to indicate that only galleries of uploads can be made.
Was the "pinned onto the board" thing on the top right of the page always there? If not that's encouraging I guess...

Hells Bells! I got it to work. So yeah, extra steps but doable. I'm thinking Motherless just might be the best all around replacement.
So while creating galleries is a process, once the gallery exists, it is a simple click to add to that gallery.
Eporner seems alright, though I suggest an adblocker naturally (Origin/ublock). But they have pics, gifs, full scenes, all with comment sections. Not sure about boards and stuff, but many of the same features.
Eporner looks nice, have collections instead of boards.
How many have unique (own created) they want to upload, but the NEW owners of this site decide not to giva fck!

If you want people to stay, don't put up a paywall to unlock "premium features" that used to be free. Also, allow more than 5MB for pic uploads. I'm fine with the 5 video uploads per day limit but don't limit pics. This site thrives on them.
You can still have many free options that is 1000 times better than what we have right now and "nothing is for free really" Someone has to pay for the traffic & servers running 24-7
